In 2013, Mike began serving on the City's Council-appointed Traffic Improvement Sub-Committee analyzing high-impact traffic issues. He has also served on the City's Financial Review Committee since 2019.
Mike has extensive experience in financial modeling, accounting, purchasing, consulting, and operations within large-scale real estate companies. Most recently he has focused on consulting projects he finds exciting and challenging as well as his own small personal development projects. Mike received his bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Mike and his wife, Heidi, were married at the Ocean Institute in 2011. They have two young children who attend local schools. In addition to their home in the Lantern Village, they own residential property in Capistrano Beach.
