The City of Dana Point's Building and Safety Division is happy to announce that we are accepting online permit application submittals for online plan review. Please note this is available for the plan review stage only, and the permit issuance must still be completed in person at City Hall.

Uploading Plans into ShareFile
This link is only for uploading plans that will be submitted over the counter. Plans must be uploaded within 24hours of submitting in person at City Hall.

Online Permitting Process
The Building and Safety Division is currently working on the development of an online permitting system. In the interim, our E-permit module is now available for searching properties, searching permits, scheduling inspections, checking inspection results, cancelling inspections, and rescheduling inspections.
